There’s something about the quiet beauty of a farm at sunset that feels like home. Recently, I had the joy of photographing a wonderful family on their stunning property in Delta, Colorado. The evening was warm, the light was golden, and the love between this family was so genuine—it made every moment behind the camera a dream.

We began the session near their beautiful old barn, a structure full of charm and character that perfectly framed the love and laughter shared between them. As the sun dipped lower, we explored more of the property, capturing natural, joy-filled moments surrounded by golden fields and open skies.

One of the most memorable moments from the evening was when we included their classic pickup truck in the shoot. Bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun, it added the perfect rustic touch to the session, telling a deeper story of family history, tradition, and pride in their land.

What I loved most about this session wasn’t just the breathtaking location or the incredible light—it was the people. This family welcomed me with open arms, and their kindness, laughter, and connection to each other made the experience truly special.
